Temperature: 

Daytime: 22-26°C, Nighttime: 15-18°C. Temperature difference is crucial for stem strength and flower color formation.

Air humidity: 

Humidity above 80% significantly increases the risk of downy mildew and gray mold, requiring enhanced ventilation or dehumidification.

COconcentration: Sunny days: 

Sunny days: 800-1200 ppm, which can significantly promote growth and bud development.

Light: 

Prefers strong light and has a high light saturation point. Daily cumulative light integral (DLI) needs to be 15 mol/m²/day; large-scale supplemental lighting is often required in winter.

 

 Water and Fertilizer Parameters

Irrigation EC Value: 

1.5-2.5 ms/cm, adjusted according to the growth stage (vegetative growthvs. reproductive growth).

Irrigation pH Value: 

5.5-6.2 (slightly acidic).
Key Nutrients: 

High potassium and calcium requirements. Potassium directly affects flower color vibrancy and stem strength; calcium prevents new leaf malformation and gray mold.

Drip irrigation using coconut coir or rock wool substrates is commonly used to ensure a stable root environment.

  • Cooling system Exhaust fan has the galvanized housing, a large aluminum wheel, a 0.8mm frame, and a 0.4mm thick blind. The cooling pad is made of polymer wet curtain paper, which is a special product that has been specially treated to have high structural strength, corrosion resistance, and excellent air permeability and water resistance. The air enters the greenhouse through the cooling pad, which has the effect of cooling, moistening and dust removal.
  • Heating system Greenhouse heating system refers to a set of suitable heating facilities selected to meet heating needs, including heat source, heat dissipation facilities, and heat transfer facilities. The main accessories include boilers, transmission pipelines, circulating water, radiators, and various control or regulating valves.
  • Shading system Internal shading is installed inside the greenhouse, fixed to the structure and matched with the frame; its net is made of white aluminum foil and secured by white support wires, achieving 65% shading rate via light reflection. External shading is fixed outside the greenhouse frame and supported by columns and beams; its net is made from HDPE, PE, PB, PVC, recycled/new materials, etc., treated with UV stabilizers and anti-oxidants for high tensile strength, aging/corrosion/radiation resistance and light weight, secured by black support wires, and delivers a better 75% shading rate through light absorption.
  • Irrigation system Its working principle is to draw irrigation water from the source, pressurize, purify and filter it, then deliver it to field irrigation facilities via pipelines. Drip arrows suit soilless cultivation (3–4 per meter, 1.6m planting spacing), including main pipelines (φ50–φ63), connectors, φ16/1.2mm PE pipes and drip arrow four-piece sets, excluding fertilizer applicators. Drip irrigation applies to ground planting (drip tape spacing 0.8m, φ20/16 PE pipes), with components including water pumps, proportional fertilizer applicators, main pipelines (φ32–φ63), PE pipes and connectors.
  • Fertilization system Fertilization system: You can choose the corresponding type according to actual needs, manual type, electric type, smart type, and can be connected to mobile phones and computers for remote control. More details will be shown in the proposal.
  • Control system Designed for agricultural greenhouses, environmental control and weather observation, this automatic system monitors key agricultural factors including wind speed/direction, air/soil temperature and humidity, air pressure, rainfall, solar radiation and UV intensity. Users can choose between ordinary power distribution cabinets and intelligent temperature control systems. The latter uses outdoor weather stations and indoor sensors to detect and record temperature, humidity, light, CO₂ concentration, substrate temperature and humidity, and supports remote control via computer and mobile phone.
      
Applications and cultivation

Conventional Vegetable Cultivation: Leafy Vegetables: Lettuce, spinach, rapeseed, bok choy, etc. Short growth cycles and low temperature and light requirements make them ideal for off-season or early spring/late autumn cultivation in film greenhouses. Fruit Vegetables: Tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, peppers, zucchini, etc. Spring planting can be done earlier, and autumn planting can be delayed, effectively avoiding the low temperatures of open fields and significantly extending the harvest period. Fruit and Specialty Crops: Strawberries: Film greenhouses are the main form of off-season strawberry cultivation.

  

Through mulching and greenhouse insulation, fresh fruit can be supplied from winter to spring. Melons, Watermelons: Suitable for early-maturing cultivation. Seedling Raising: Cultivating seedlings for open-field vegetables, flowers, and fruit trees is cost-effective. Some Flowers and Shade-Tolerant Crops: Mid- to low-grade potted flowers, herbaceous flowers, or shade-tolerant foliage plants can be planted. In brief: Film greenhouses are "economical and practical," mainly used to resist low temperatures and extend the growing season. They are suitable for crops that do not have high requirements for environmental precision, have short growth cycles, and moderate economic benefits. They are currently the most widely used type of greenhouse in China.
